I’m your host Iren Axel, and I’m inviting you to follow me in to curiosity, and choose whatever desire follows. My art as an invitation into my vibe.

I hold a Master’s degree in Art History and Art Criticism, and I’ve been painting since my university years. My work has followed me across countries. I’m travelling, meeting people, moving through different countries, museums, cultures, interiors, histories, and all of that becomes a part of my visual language. Over the years, my paintings have found their way into private collections around the world.

 

My work is deeply inspired by femininity, desire, architecture, fashion, and private stories. The themes I’m returning to is that fascination with history, intimate emotion, beauty, flirt, temptation. Sometimes I enter the work myself. My image often becomes a part of the story. I’m sure you’ll find something you didn’t know your life was missing. Just take the apple and dive into my imaginary experiences, and personal mythology.
